Solid Foods

Miss Anna has started baby food. Well the only thing she has had so far is rice cereal and she has only had it once.

She did better than I thought. I started at the beginning with the cereal very runny. After a few bites I thickened it, then kept adding more rice cereal after she kept eating. When I fed TJ the first time I got really frustrated because I kept it very runny the whole first meal and he didn't start eating it well until I thickened it.

Way to go Anna!

Octor Appointments

I told TJ this morning that Daddy and I were going to take him and Anna to the doctor today. I went on asking him if he had a good weekend, if he was going to be good today, and if he slept well.

After we went through these questions he asked me, “Mommy, I show octor my owie?” when I replied “yes”, he asked if he could show octor wee owies? (Two Owies) Hehe, this weekend we really worked on him saying two and most of the time he does. Since it was 6:30 in the morning I let it slide and verified with him that he meant two.

Well they both had their appointments today at 4 and they are perfect!

TJ weighs 35.2 pounds and is 3 feet 2 inches tall. 

Anna is also doing well. She weighed 13 pounds 13 ounces, 24 1/4 inches long, and her head was 15 3/4 inches around. She had to get two shots and is sleeping right now. 

Now I'm signing off to go with TJ to play with his new birthday toys.

Its so hard to believe that 3 yrs ago today, my little man made a splash into the world with a surprise.

Its been a fun year with TJ. On his birthday last year we found out we were pregnant. We had a cars birthday party for him. I made his cake and put a race track on the cake in the shape of a two and put Lightning McQueen and Mater on the track. He had a blast!

He became potty trained this summer, he moved from his crib to his daybed then to a full size bed, and he went to his first movie.

TJ has always had his own words. But this year he really started talking and I thought it would be fun to get them all written down.

It has been a great year and he developed so much this year. This coming year he will be starting preschool, we'll probably start him in team sports either in the fall or next spring.
