Double Date Night

We decided that we wanted to go to dinner and a movie so we made our dates the kids. TJ was my date and Anna was Tim's. Fuzzy's was on the menu for dinner and Madagascar 3 came out last week so we took the kids to see it. We were worried about Anna but she was so excited and sat there almost the entire movie. She got up at the end but just danced in front of our seats.

Great Memories

 The date even continued until the next morning when we went for breakfast.

Lion King 3D: Trip to the Movies

When we saw that Lion King would be in theaters for a couple weeks in 3D. We knew we just had to take TJ. Lion King is one of his favorite movies.

Acutally if you ask him what TJ stands for he'll tell you it stands for Lion King. His tball team is the tigers and if I call him a tiger he says "no Mommy, I'm Lion King."

He did great with the glasses. He kept them on until the very end. It was strange though, people were reacting to the movie like they had never seen it before. Little odd for a old movie that was remade. Tim and I could speak all the lines throughout the whole movie. So when people were laughing at parts we kept glancing at each other asking "have they not seen this movie before?"

Cars 2: Trip to the Movies

After two instances you can make something a tradition right?

Sounds good to me.

We went and saw Cars 2 with the Peerys. Last time we went to the movies we went to see Kungfu Panda and took Lex with us. They had a blast and since Cars 2 was coming out and my son and Lex are fanatics it was a MUST that we take them. It was opening weekend and had been planning it for weeks.

It was actually Anna's first movie. She didn't do terrible but she is at the age that movies aren't interesting to her but too old to be fine with sitting still for a couple of hours in a dark theater.

I'm just going to post a bunch of pictures because I think these kiddos are cuties.

KungFu Panda 2...Trip to the Movies

Tim and I took TJ and his best friend Lex to the movies today. They came over and dropped off Lex before the movie and then they took Anna back to their house.

TJ and Lex loved it! Only took two trips to the bathroom and they sat through the whole thing until the end when all the fighting was going on. They wanted to get up and do the moves too.

And yes....I was the lady who brought her camera to the movie theater.
