Oh the State Fair is one of my favorite places. We take off of work and go have a blast. We like to try all the fun food and look at every exhibit.

Program and Preschool
This is terrible of me but I completely forgot to post a few pictures of TJ's school program at Christmas time. It was a very cute program with a sweet story. It was a donkey barbeque, but completely adorable!!!
We found out early December that TJ's teacher would no longer be teaching at his school. We knew this would be an adjustment for him. He LOVED his teacher. It was glorious when I would tell him something he would tell me that his teacher says that too. Even after she left he would continue to tell me what she has told him. Even though my son is at age three and in his first year of school. I am so grateful for his teacher(s) and made sure I told her so. I sent a card in TJ's bag on her last day and told her how much we appreciate her and we will miss her.
When he returned to school after being out of school for a two weeks and then having a new teacher. It was really hard for him to adjust. Thanks to my mom and dad who had to work with him a lot. Especially my dad who took him to school each day and had to work with him and pray with him. He is doing so much better!

Leaves
Yesterday for my last day before we headed back to work I needed to get some things done. So after the kids woke up we got ready and headed to my parents house so I could make some copies with my dad. While we were waiting on my dad the kids, Gracee and myself headed out to the back yard to have some fun...really to burn some of Gracee's energy off since she has been stuck in the house a bunch.
I snapped a few pictures:
The TJ made me take a picture of myself so I wouldn't feel left out....

Pumpkin Patch 2011
Well the tradition continues but this time it was Anna's first time to go.
Normally we go to a church pumpkin patch right by our house but this year we found one at the same church that TJ went to VBS at. They had a great area set up with great "land" behind so the pictures look great.
Anna picked out a tiny pumpkin that Papa and Nana got for her and then Papa picked a great big pumpkin for us to carve. (pictures of that later)
I love my pumpkins... my kids that is. They make me happy.

Weekend of Family
My brother Josh and his wife Dre with their son Nate came into town last Friday. They came to travel with us to Fredericksburg to celebrate my Grandfathers 90th Birthday.
There were there with us on Friday night for church then we all headed out Saturday morning for our trek to the Hill Country.
Saturday we had a family dinner and then a scheduled time for photos out at Glorieta after dinner.
Glorieta is the land and house that my grandparents owned and built a log cabin on. My Uncle and Aunt own the property now but it was a great backdrop for photos.
Here are some of the pictures the Photographer took:
While she was taking individual shots of the different family groupings and couples. I went inside and grabbed my camera and took some shots to keep myself occupied. wink.
And here is some from dinner:
yeah....I know, there are a lot of pictures. Sorry I can't help it. I love taking pictures

Fredricksburg, TX [Vacation Series]
After we left Port Aransas on Thursday morning we headed first for Corpus Christi for Whataburger on the bay!
We got there at around 10:30ish and we all had burgers and fries except TJ, he had pancakes. We couldn't eat at Whataburger and not have a burger.
We left Whataburger and made our way to San Marcos where Amy had her car left at a friends house. She had to get back home to College Station so she could get moved to a new place. Bye Bye Mimi, we had fun! TJ was not happy to see Mimi leave.
Made it to Opa and Oma's(my Grandparents house)!
We left there Friday after lunch and went to Johnson City. We had a good visit with them and we'll be headed back down there in a couple weeks to celebrate my Grandfather's 90th birthday!.
