Bows, Tutus and Much More

My close friend was blessed with two wonderful boys.

She is so talented and creative and was hoping for a girl so she could make bows, tutus and more. She found out a few months ago that she will be having a niece and has been making so many bows and items for her.

Since she was posting pictures she has had high demand to teach women with girls how to make them and even requests to sell the ones she has made.

I had a lesson a few weeks back and it has been such a blessing to me. I made a bunch of bows and even a tutu for Anna.

She can make pretty much anything.

Last night we went over to their house for dinner and fun. Well we decided to have a little photo shoot to take pictures of Anna in some of the tutus and bows she has made.

Redemption

Some of you who may shop at Albertson's will know that ever since August they have had a deal going that with every 10 dollars you spend you get a sticker once you get 36 stickers on a sheet you get a free place setting of Royal Doulton Blueberry. It comes with a dinner plate, salad plate, and soup bowl. Well Tim and i try are very hardest not to spend very much at the store. We always get something on sale or use coupons so the spend more get more didn't work for us. So what I did was told EVERYONE that shopped there to collect them for me. Once I got 6 sheets I went and redeemed them and started using them. Once  got a sheet filled I went and redeemed by sheets. Well last night was the last night to get stickers but I thought it was the last day to redeem. So I headed up there last night at 7 p.m. to get my dishes. I had 3 full sheets and 2 that had a few on each. I went ahead and picked up 4 sets and went to check out. They went ahead and gave me enough stickers to get the 4th set. People I was sooo excited I have 12 place settings. Yippee!!!

Black Friday Shopping

We actually did it this year. We woke up at 4 am and headed off to Wal-Mart. We were in Fredericksburg and knew it wouldn’t be as bad as it would be in DFW. As soon as we walked in we saw where the TV we wanted was and where the blue ray player was. They were right next to each other, so it was very convenient for us. There were two pallets of the TV that we wanted. Being that Tim was the tallest guy there he got the 2^nd one off the top. I was over by the blue ray players. I grabbed one from the top and I had this little lady next to me that asked for my help so I just handed her mine and grabbed another. I probably would not have done this if I was in our area. Tim and I got so excited we put that stuff in the cart and ran off to the register. Oopsie we forgot all the other stuff we needed to get. Needless to say we checked out 3 times. Sad thing is we were still out of there and on our way back to the hotel by 5:30.

Here is a picture of the TV that we got. Timothy got it set up and hung on the wall. We got a great deal and are already enjoying it. Merry Christmas to us!!!
