Birthday

This was a big year for you and we couldn’t be more proud of you.

You’re an amazing young man. There is such sweetness about you and you are so sensitive to people’s feelings.

This year you asked Jesus into you heart. It was a sweet moment. We were reading a book about heaven and you turned to me and told me that you love Jesus. I told you that we love Him to and He is real special to us. You sat there for a second and then told us that you wanted Jesus in your heart and that you wanted us to help you pray. Right there in Anna’s room, mid book, in our jammies, you asked Jesus into your heart. You were so happy and excited and were ready to tell the world.

You had some great developments this year. You are learning so much in Pre-K and absolutely love school. Even your friendships are becoming more complex with conversation and playing.

You were prophesied over a few times but one recently was that you have a Samuel anointing on you and that you will see things and being able to lead people because of what you see.

We love you buddy and are so happy that God has appointed us as your parents. Each day is a blessing and we cherish every hug, every conversation, every movie night, and every moment we have with you.

Thomas the Train

This weekend we went down to the Killeen and met up with Dre and Nate to go down to the hill country to go see Thomas. The kids had a blast. It rained the whole day but it let up just enough that it wasn't too bad. It was a great time. Thanks for thinking of us Dre!

Double Date Night

We decided that we wanted to go to dinner and a movie so we made our dates the kids. TJ was my date and Anna was Tim's. Fuzzy's was on the menu for dinner and Madagascar 3 came out last week so we took the kids to see it. We were worried about Anna but she was so excited and sat there almost the entire movie. She got up at the end but just danced in front of our seats.

Great Memories

 The date even continued until the next morning when we went for breakfast.

Race for Grace 5k

The school TJ attends had a 5K that the hosted and any chance Tim and I can get to do a 5K, we will do it!

 

It was tough, felt like we were going uphill the whole way. I am very thankful that Tim pushes the double stroller with 2 kids weighing about 75 lbs combined.

oh and TJ always has to run across the finish line. So the last little bit of the run TJ gets our and races across the finish line. This is always a hit with the crowds.

Six Flags 2012

Every year for the past 5 years or so, the company that Tim and I work for has a company picnic at Six Flags. We always have a great time, even though most of our time the last few years is spent in the kids area. Still worth it and we are making memories.

School Program: Spring 2012

Since Anna was at school near the end of the year she was able to participate in the spring program. She has a blast at school and really enjoyed being in the program.

TJ had a great time this season. He is enjoying his teammates and is developing more as a team player. 

Bicycle

We gave TJ a bike for his birthday. He is trying to get used to it and is starting to master it. I have a feeling this is going to take some time.

Easter with Family

My brother and his wife, Dre and their son, Nate came in from Killeen to spend the weekend with us. We had a egg hunt and big lunch planned. It was a lot of fun
