Sitting here looking at my little girl. I started thinking about her future...
I was just looking at her features and saw such beauty. She has pretty lips, pretty eyes, beautiful skin, perfect nose, she has all the best features of Tim and I.
I am already praying for her husband and for her future. Some may think I'm crazy, but it is my job as her parent to pray for her. No one can pray for her like I can, just like no one can love her like me.
I pray he loves God more than he loves her, I pray he respects her, I pray he has passion and is driven, I pray he loves her unconditionally, I pray he holds her when she is hurting, I pray that he isn't the one to hurt her, I pray he loves her for her, I pray she learns from Tim and I about marriage and how you treat each other. Oh the list goes on and on.
I do know that her beauty on the outside is NOTHING if she doesn't have beauty on the inside. I also pray she becomes a passionate woman of God. That she lays down her plans for her life and takes up His with all her being. I pray we do everything we are suppose to do in order to teach her and to help her become who she is destined to be.
Can't wait to teach her to pray, to sing, to worship, and to seek His face at all times.
Anyways, I was just sitting here looking at her and wanted to share my thoughts.

All Boy
My son is nothing but boy.
He spends 80 percent of his time awake doing the following:
The rest of the time is spent eating, watching movies, and re-hydrating.
He is definitely a dare devil and I'm praying protection over him daily. He likes to see if his body can do certain things and it constantly keeps me on my toes.
But when you put all of this aside. His heart is so tender for people. He makes people light up when they see him. He builds relationships with people in a matter of seconds. His heart of worship has been evident since he was an infant. He immediately engages in worship, he sings, claps, and raises his hands. It melts my heart to see this, but I know this is what he is called to do. He is called to be a leader, worshiper and warrior.
He has to be all boy to be a warrior. He has to be brave, he has to be able to go where no one else will go, but he has to dwell in the presence of God.
He will call me into his room 3-4 times every night so we can pray again. He won't let me cover him up or anything until we pray.
He definitely has a heart of worship and prayer. That's my boy!

I Am Second For HE is First
I don't know if any of you have seen the billboards or commercials for a website called iamsecond.com. Well Tim and I checked it out tonight and it is an amazing site where some well known people are telling there testimonies on how God is first in their lives.
Some of them you may recognize and some you may not. Watch the videos! We got to watch a couple of them tonight and are already touched by what these people have gone threw.
Here is the Link. Share this with friends and family. We truly were amazed with what some of these people have gone threw. I AM SECOND

Like Papa Like Grandson
In case you didn’t know my dad is the prayer coordinator over the TXAPN aka Texas Apostolic Prayer Network. TXAPN is aligned with United States Apostolic Alliance with Dutch Sheets. He has travelled all over Texas . Last year him and my mom drove the perimeter of Texas and met up with intercessors from all over Texas. And last month he had someone in each county of Texas simultaneously staking the county for God. Well it has been prophesied over TJ many times already that he will be a prophet, preacher and warrior for God. Well we are getting him started earlier.
Here is my Dad praying over Texas. He keeps this in his office so he can pray over Texas and be able to see the state laid out counties and all.
And here is TJ checking out Texas. Yes he is playing with his toys but God is getting him ready. Pray TJ Pray!!

Oh My Goodness
My son has been a little toot the last few days. Starting on I think it was Tuesday night he started waking up at night. Now just a little info from how TJ is...He has slept through the night since about 6 weeks old. Before then he would sleep about 6 hours at night, wake up, eat and then go back to sleep. What he would do the last couple of nights is: He would go down fine except as soon as we would walk out the door he would start to fuss. After calming him down he would go to sleep then at around 9:30 as soon as we would lay our heads down and turn of the light he would cry. Now this cry was screaming, scared crying, not even holding him would calm him down crying. At first I think it was spiritual issue. We prayed over him and prayed over his room. The reason I thought it was spiritual is anytime I was holding him and taking him into his room he would start wiggling and getting stiff. He has never done this before. It didn't matter if it was during the day or going to bed, he did this. The first night he did this I thought it was just because of the surgery the second night was horrible we were up till about 12 and then he still woke up at 3,5,6, and 7:30. That's when we prayed over him and the room. He was horrible yesterday crying all the time, cranky, didn't want to lay down, and didn't want to play. SO last night we started over. I thought okay this must be because he is playing me now he is trying to figure out what he can get away with so I'll cry and see what happens. HA! no more! Last night any time he cried (well fussed) I would hurry in there before he woke up and got worked up to put his paci back in his mouth and cover him back up. He would go back to sleep. He only did this once during the night and then didn't do it again till about 6ish. He slept until 9. Praise the LORD!!! he has gone down great for his naps all day today. He fusses a little then crashes.
My GREAT little boy is back. We about lost our minds but we are doing fine now, good thing since I'm going back to work on Monday. I know I'll get sleep now. I don't think it was just one thing. It probably started out as a painful and spiritual thing but then moved to him just wanting me to hold him.

Praying at Work?

I take it as such a blessing that I work with people that consider prayer most important. And that I am able to meet with them here in the office to pray. The people here are also so aware of spiritual activity. Meaning that we can sense when there are attacks going on and when to start praying.
I’m sorry I’m just so excited that I had some people to gather with and I wasn’t alone praying at my desk.

Slight Change of Plans
Original plan out the window. We woke up on Saturday and I went to a Pampered Chef party while Tim got some of the stuff ready to paint. We realized that we didn’t have enough of the left over paint to paint both rooms. After sitting there trying to think of something to do in the office I went and got online and found a color that was very pretty and Tim loved it. I sent Tim off to the store while I got some more things ready to go and TJ down for his nap.
Now this color is a blue/green color. It’s called Cathedral, the best way to describe it is a dark lagoon or harbor color. Right before he left we were talking about how we wanted to get a real office desk and not a dinky little computer desk. I got on craigslist while we were discussing the plan and found a desk that was just listed that day. Tim called and arranged for him to go look at it the next day. We got the room painted with 2 coats and the cut in done.
Sunday after Church Tim and Rodney went out to Lancaster to look at the desk and load it up if Tim liked it. I stayed behind and got the room re arranged for the desk and let TJ nap. Once they got back we got the rest of the room cleaned up and Tim and I started to move the desk down the hall. Woops the desk didn’t fit. Tim had to take off the door along with the jams. It barely fit. After we got the desk arranged and the computer set up we went up to Garden Ridge and bought some art and frames that were on sale.
The room is all done and looks good. Of course I forgot to take pictures. I’ll have Tim take some when he gets home and I’ll have to post anther blog later. Sorry.
Also. Last night one of our friends little brother was shot in the face by a drive by shooter. He called 911 himself and is at the hospital now. He is planned to have surgery today to get the fragments out of his face. For the full update from his sister you can go to her blog. http://www.belgexan.com/ Keep him and his family in your prayers.

Tim's Knees
Okay some of you may know that Tim got in a wreck in high school that caused him to have knee surgery on his right knee. well through out the years his left knee has started to bother him. He went to the doctor about 8 weeks ago he gave him some meds and excersises to do to strengthen the muscles. Nothing helped he could barely walk on some days.
He went back to the doctor 6 weeks later. He told the doctor what he thought it was...the miniscus (sp?) the doctor agrreed and told him to go get a MRI. After the results came back they told him he had a baker cyst and that he needed to go to a orthopedic doctor.
Yesterday he had his appointment. Tim loves his Doctor he thinks he is awesome. Dr. Otero told him that lots of people have baker cysts and that his problem was that his miniscus (sp?) was torn and his knee cap was crooked. The reason is because the muscles that go accross the knee one was longer than the other and that it was pulling he knee cap weird. So he needs surgery.
He has his surgery on May 15th. we'll need to pay about 10% of the surgery and the rest of our deductible. Little nervous but I know this is what needs to be done. The doctor also told Tim that his other knee looks bad, but his said we're not going to fix it if its not broke. He did say he would probably have to come back in a couple of years and have surgery again. I hope not we are going to pray for healing.
I'll give you a update once he has his surgery. Pray for comfort for him, direction with the hands of the doctor, and that the Lord will provide for finances.
thank you!
